OASIS Patient Assessment Service Update in iQIES

On December 30, 2021, a minor update to the iQIES OASIS Patient Assessment service will occur. Items included in this release are as follows:

• Extend the current OASIS data specifications, V2.31.0, to support patient assessment collection in Calendar Year (CY) 2022. Extending the year of the data specification version to CY 2022 will allow users to submit OASIS patient assessments through December 31, 2022.
• The implementation of OASIS V2.31.1 Errata:
  • A policy change to item M1242 will allow this item to be voluntarily filled out for all reasons for assessment (RFAs).
  • The text in three edits (-3891, -5123, and -5421) contained typos and has been corrected. No logic changes are implemented in the correction to the edit text.

These changes will be applied in the iQIES production release on December 30, 2021.
