Note to Provider Security Officials for Skilled Nursing Facilities: iQIES ePOC Launch July 14, 2025

May 09, 2025

On July 14, 2025, the current Electronic Plan of Correction (ePOC) functionality in ASPEN Web will be transitioning to the internet Quality Improvement & Evaluation System (iQIES).  The ePOC system allows state agencies to communicate with Nursing Homes that have been surveyed and track plans of correction in real time and provide an opportunity to quickly address deficiency citations and achieve compliance with Medicare requirements.

You are receiving this notification because you are a Provider Security Official (PSO) for your organization. Once ePOC is launched in iQIES on July 14, you may start to receive role requests for a new role in iQIES: the Provider ePOC Administrator. If your provider has registered to use ePOC for ASPEN, you may approve those users that also would like to have access to ePOC in iQIES once Nursing Homes migrate on July 14th. If your Nursing Home has not registered for ePOC access in ASPEN Web, you may disregard any requests for an ePOC Administrator role.

For more information, please contact the iQIES Service Center by email: iqies@cms.hhs.gov or by phone: 1-800-339-9313. Or to create a new ticket online, track an existing ticket, or recover your HARP password account, please use our CCSQ Support Central: Self-Service Portal.
