The new IRF CMG Grouper, version 3.00, is now posted and available for download on the CMS IRF PPS Software webpage at: https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Medicare-Fee-for-Service-Payment/InpatientRehabFacPPS/Software.html.
Version 3.00 incorporates revisions to the comorbidities used by the CMG grouper and replaces IRF CMG Grouper v2.90. Please refer to the IRF PPS Software page for additional information. The IRF Assessment Submission and Processing (ASAP) system will be enhanced to use IRF CMG Grouper v3.00 during the regularly scheduled monthly system downtime and will be effective for all IRF-PAI records with a target date on or after October 1, 2017.
