he new IRF CMG Grouper Version 2.90 was posted on the CMS website on September 1, 2016 and is available for download on the IRF PPS Software page on the CMS website at

The new grouper version 2.90 replaces version 2.82. Please refer to the IRF PPS Software page for additional information about the new grouper. The IRF Assessment Submission and Processing (ASAP) system was enhanced to use IRF CMG Grouper version 2.90 during the system downtime on Sunday, September 18, 2016 and is in effect for all IRF-PAI records with a target date on or after October 1, 2016.
