iQIES to Replace jRAVEN on October 1, 2023
On October 1, 2023, the CMS Resident Assessment Validation and Entry System (jRAVEN) will no longer be supported by CMS. CMS will replace the jRAVEN application with an online user tool for all valid target dates. iQIES is an Internet facing, cloud-based system and requires users to be connected to the internet.
In order to submit assessments using the iQIES online user tool beginning October 1, users will be required to have either the Provider Administrator or Provider Assessment Coordinator user role. To request a new user role, please follow the steps outlined below.
Register for an iQIES Account and Request New User Role
- Access iQIES at: https://iqies.cms.gov/ and log in with your HARP credentials to complete the process to request your User Role for your provider's CMS Certification Number (CCN).
- Once the user role request has been submitted AND approved by the Provider Security Official (PSO), you will receive a notification via email informing you that your iQIES account access request has been approved. Note: Due to increased role request volume, role request approvals or rejections may take up to 24 hours for the status to be reflected.
