Home Health Compare (HHC) is updated on a quarterly basis during the first month of each quarter of the calendar year. Data provided within Home Health Compare includes demographic information of the agency including: Services Provided, Address and Telephone number as it is reported through survey data.
While it is possible for agency demographic and services provided to change over time, it is important for agencies to review HHC quarterly, as well as, their Preview Reports which are available via CASPER Reporting. Preview reports reflect the quality measure data and agency information that will be posted to HHC in the following quarter.
Agency information must be updated and uploaded to the national database by the state's Aspen Coordinator within Aspen Central Office. In order to ensure that states have the appropriate amount of time needed to complete these updates, prior to generating the final files used to refresh HHC, please contact your state's Aspen Coordinator prior to the first business day within the months of February (to be included in the April refresh), May (to be included in the July refresh), August (to be included in the October refresh) and November (to be included in the January refresh).
