This executable file contains the current version of the jRAVEN software (1.3.0), a Java-based application that allows facilities to collect and maintain facility, resident and assessment information for subsequent submission to the appropriate state and/or national data repository. jRAVEN is free software provided by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). jRAVEN 1.3.0 addresses the following: -Item Set changes -Data Specification updates -VUT update -HotKeys updates -ICD 10 -Help Contents/RAI manual updates -New Disclaimer and CAM verbiage -Cosmetic Report changes -Enhanced Resident Match -Facility Information Display -Resident Lock/Unlock -Encryption updates -Server upgrade -Database restore enhancements Choosing the appropriate installation: The Standalone installation version will install the complete application and database on ONE PC. For Standalone: 1. Follow the installation instructions documented in the jRAVEN 1.3.0 Installation Guide. 2. Use the jRAVENSetup_1.3.0.exe. The Network installation is intended for a group of users with a designated database server in a separate location. Each user will have the jRAVEN client installed on their PC and the database will be stored in a network location. For Network: 1. Follow the installation instructions documented in the jRAVEN 1.3.0 Installation Guide. 2. Use the jRAVENServerSetup_1.3.0 exe. 3. Use the jRAVENSetup_1.3.0.exe to install the jRAVEN Client to each workstation. Users who currently have a Network/Client installation of 1.2.0 or 1.2.1 MUST apply the upgrade to EACH CLIENT install using the jRAVENSetup_1.3.0.exe. It is recommended that ALL jRAVEN Client installations be upgraded to the latest version prior to logging into the application.
